Since it is a Sprint phone it is locked to Sprint. There are services out there that can flash the ROM to another carrier, but the carrier would have to be CDMA. (Sprint, Verizon, Boost, Virgin...ect) It will not work on a GSM carrier no matter what you do to it. (GSM = T-Mobile & AT&T)

just like any other phone it depends on how much you use it, but i used it fairly regularly and i would say it lasted anywhere from 4 to 6 hrs. i used it for movies and text, and gps, as well as phone so it just depends.

there are a couple of very minor scratches if you tilt it in the light you can see them. from normal use. they do not show up in a picture no matter what i try. so i cant put a pic of the scratches. sorry
