im in michigan and they grow really good her just got to grow them in shade and damp soil .and yes i no not to eat the Indian Turnip you no the indians used to use them for contraception :+)

vicky500 i think that would grow in doors probably better they like it in moist dirt and filtered sunlight i think that's why they grow so well for me i over water stuff

I'm in Minnesota too, do these grow wild? I think iv seen them in my woods?! Didn't think about growing them myself! I suppose I'd better check to be sure their not protected or something! That would be just my luck! Lol! Their pretty! =•)

i dont no if there protected but my parents got a couple seeds about five years ago and planted them in my grandma's backyard and they've been growng like crazy ive got 15 that come back every year thay look like a turnip root in the ground and they make seed pods every year half of them give me about 15 seeds each each year
