Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Sprigs of fresh mint
Crushed ice
Good American Bourbon
Combine water and sugar, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Cool and place in a covered container with six or eight sprigs of fresh mint. Put in the refrigerator overnight.
To make a mint julep place crushed ice in cup; add one-tablespoon mint syrup and 2 ounces of a good American Bourbon. Enjoy.
