The listing, FREE Old Civil War Map - c. 1885 has ended.

This is an old map titled "Map To Illustrate The Civil War." It is copyrighted 1885. It is just over 9" long x 7" high. Crease down the middle from folding in half and some yellowing from age. Please see photos. Would probably look quite nice in a frame.

There are no other dates or publishing company on this map. I have had it for around ten years. Came in a box at an auction which had several old maps, big and small. I only wanted one of the maps for display so this has been sitting in a box doing nothing. That is why I put it here for bid.

As it is smaller than most maps I am used to, and with the fold down the center, I am thinking it came out of an old book. How old, I do not know. The page is yellowed and even brownish near the corners. Sorry I can't help you with more knowledge about this piece.
