Well, now, I found this in grandma's sewing kit. Perhaps she poked grampa in the behinder when he did something wrong. Seriously, though, I think it is for sewing leather crafts or something of that sort. On the side, it says "Jiffy Neeedle" and is 6" long and 1/8" thick. There is one little spot of rust (easily removed, unless you are a collector). Grandma passe away 16 years ago and was 86 years of age. There's no telling how long it was in that sewing can.
