i realize that the tile of this is "silk craft embroidery magazine" but it is loaded with CROCHET patterns, as far as i can see (and i do needlework) there are NO embroidery patterns in here. isn't that unusual? i don't know why this is

the book is in very good condition for it's age and has alot of illustrations

Love this!! I collect vintage patterns,notions&all the needed "tools of the trade" Have been crocheting for 40years ever since grandma taught me how. Is there a date anywhere on or in this lovely? I'm saying it's very early 1900's. Silk Craft is in reference to there usually being silk in the crochet thread that is needed to make these patterns,really good brands had it back then & some still do but honey it is pricey! Embroider is just a term used liberally in this case and also is a nod to the fact that most if not all of these projects require assembly. These patterns are really timeless though,I don't think these beautiful creations ever really go totally out of style. Thanks for offering it! I'm bidding,f&w!!!
