The listing, Loquat Seeds has ended.
Most Loquat trees, AKA Chinese Plum, are self fertile with perfect flowers which are pollinated by both insects, and, wind. The trees bloom very early, often in January, fruits are fully ripe in April-May. They don't travel well, failing to ripen off the tree. They're delicious fruits, and, the trees can be trained as a hedge for easier harvest. If planted in a southern exposure sheltered from the winter wind, they have been known to survive a Zone 6 winter, although, they usually don't produce fruit that far north. They are well worth growing in a sheltered garden.
