The listing, 1984 ALL-STAR Roster**LEGENDS**, with Steve Garvey Patch(World Series Year), JUST READ IT!!! has ended.

Great piece of baseball history. This is probably the last small box of these patches, in their original packaging, that exists any more. They are one of those rare items where the Package is as cool as the item packaged. The list of All Stars on the back is worth the whole piece...Cal Ripken, Jr., Dave Winfield, Fernando Valenzuela, Pete Rose, Ozzie Smith, Goose Gossage, Darrel Strawberry,etc.,etc.. Bought at auction, donated by San Diego Sportscaster and family friend, "Coach" John Kentera. Gave as many away as possible, the rest are for the Listian Sports Memorabilia Fans!!

I bought a box of about 100 of these at an auction to send kids from Camp Pendleton to Padres Baseball Games. It was donated by"Coach" John Kentera, also a family friend(worked for his Dad ansd Uncle for years, so, I have them on E-Bay, but no one has ever contacted me. I don't like E-Bay, I have not had one thing go right, one lady bought 4 things and never paid, another paid but never signed the Signature Confirmation, I gave up excpt to leave that little classified, I avoid E-Bay. Listia has more of a community feel and you run into nice peole wh the same taste as you over and over!! I much prefer Listia. I am down to about 15 that are still in good enough shape to auction, they are thirty years old, but still look great because they have been in a box for thirty years!!! Ten under my watch, it was so nice to find a way to get these out to the Sports Memorabiliia fans, such an incredible era, before the fall from grace of Pete Rose!!

Sorry, "Coach" John Kentera is the most well known San Diego sportscastor, after Ted Leitner, But little John, as we call him (he is 6'8"), is the best play by play man, BY FAR!!!

Just like with cars/baseball players.The older the better.Since steroids and such.I quit watching and collecting.just got back into collecting again.God have things changed,lol
