i think the person above is talking about the flat rate for board games as you go along you will learn all kinds of way's to ship things and a tip go to your local store and buy a postal scale or amazon has lots then you can go to the usps site and use the rate scale for shipping anywhere in seconds saves lots of time and gas i paid 25.00 for my scale at walmart there are sites that you can use to do it all from home but those have a fee per month i ship a lot but have not felt it was worth the extra yet myself if i can help you in any way just message me
I'm searching for a way to send this that will be less expensive than flat rate. I will check various size envelopes today and let you know something tomorrow.
hi if you ship using a large padded mailer or poly mailer it would cost much less to ship as they go by the weight flat rate is best for heavy items if i bid and win i would want it shipped that way you would be shocked how much you can fit in them i have shipped curtins in them let me know if you will do the mailer please as i am on fixed income

I am willing to try anything the winner wants but I have to warn that the skirt has a small crinoline which may make it difficult to ship in a padded mailer.

The smallest thing available for shipping at our post office that this dress will fit in cost $5.20 for local delivery and goes up based on distance. Unfortunately without a scale I will not be able to quote exact prices until it is sold but I was told to expect it to range between $5.20 and $9.60. If anyone knows a better way to figure this please let me know.
you should be able to fold side to center on each side then press and fold it length wise that will help with the bulk then you should be able to fit into a large mailer walmart has a real big one like 15x15 i know when i stated i did not know much on shipping things now it seems so long ago i did not buy my scale till i saw that i was shipping many things a week and many trips to see what postage would be it made it so much better i also but printed postage of different amounts so i can send from home
oh ok well most general stores now sell mailer's and some supermarkets as well or a light weight box works good you just have to mark out any thing written on the box when i can i use the poly mailers they are very light but heavy duty before we moved back to tx we had to go 50 miles to get to walmart here they are on just about every corner
The only store with in 30 mi is very small local grocery store and a Dollar General. I checked them both Saturday and neither had anything even close, so Monday I went to the Post Office to see what they had available. I'll keep checking and call a few friends who do internet sales to see if anyone has anything smaller I can use. I promise I'll get the price down as low as I can before I mail it which will be Thursday morning.
wow i was going to bid but it seems seller it not very good at shipping or is trying to make money off of the "shipping" price Anyone that ships on the regular knows that a dress would not cost more that 6.00$ to ship and that with ins on it ... I just shipped 5 long hippie skirts and several tanktops to my niece in MD (i'm in Ohio) and it only cost me $4.50
