These spurs are NOT for work. As you can see they fit by sliding onto the heel of your boot, so they wouldn't stay on if you tried to use them for work. That is why they are listed as "Dress Spurs." I wore them on stage when I played in a country music band here in Texas, they are very "jingly." They are in VERY GOOD shape and sound VERY NICE. As you can see in the pics they have metal "dangles" that hang down against the rowl and make noise. They measure 3 1/2" from tip of shank to rowl and the rowl is 2" in diameter.
