Not sure...Reading right now...in the camera specifications it says video clip: 320x240 pizels around 69 seconds. Photo capacity 320x240 LO quality around 276 photos and 320x240 HI quality around 138 photos. 1280 x 960 HI quality around 15 photos, 1280x960 LO quality around 28 photos, 640x480 HI quality around 45 photos, 640-480 LO quality around 92 photos. Hope that helps...looks like a video camera, but acts more like a regular digital camera according to the specifications.

Batteries required - they are 3 AAAs. You could use rechargeable batteries too. The cost for batteries are whatever 3 AAAs would be for you.

It takes 3 - AAA batteries - you can get them at Walmart and they don't cost much...no fancy expensive camera batteries required on this little guy!
