FYI: I'm just going to let you know some things I have discovered with these.

The vines will need something to climb on. We made a wooden pole with wooden "arms" for them to climb on. The next spring, I thought the vine had died. They looked brittle and dead and easily broke off. But it was the end of May/first part of June (in Michigan) we noticed the vines were splitting and new growth was coming out of the dead looking vines. I just wanted to let you know so you don't think it's dead and pull it up. Hubby had this on his "to do" list but hadn't gotten to it when we noticed the new growth. This has happened each year. The first two years there were only vine. The 3rd year was when the blooms first appeared.
