this series of stamp was made between 1941-1945. this was also the series of stamps that The O.S.S (now C.I.A.) forged during world war 2. the forgeries of this stamp were used to disrupt german postal system and deliver anti-Nazi Propaganda to german citizens. they would bomb mail trains and dump sacks of forged mail sacks containing the propaganda filled letters with the forged version of this stamp on them. inside they would also find the Futsches Reich Stamp that depicts hitler as a Skull.
