Offered is an unused 1960's post card issued at the time of the Civil War Centennial and features the many flags of the Confederate States of America incluidng the Stars and Bars battle flag. The first flag was the single star Bonnie Blue flag followed by the blue stars with two red and one white strip that was replaced by the white flag with stars and bar in corner, and the last flag like the previous one but with a red stripe. The changes in the flag were widely due to fact in battle the CSA flag was often confused for the Union Stars and Stripes flag. A great card for the Civil War teacher, historian, and others. A unique piece of Civil War history on a post card.
