Description

The listing, Samsung digital camera, also takes movies, excellent shape, works well has ended.

Samsung Digimax A503 digital camera. Works excellent, used only a few times. It's small and compact. It takes 2 "AA" batteries, which are in included. This camera is really easy to use. Just pop in an SD card, and start taking pictures. Great for a first camera for teens,or for those who want a great little camera that is portable but still takes good pictures, unlike a call phone camera.
It has 5.0 Megapixels. It also takes video, and also has a voice recorder as well,if you wish to tape a conversation, etc. It's a cool little thing, has quite a few different options and settings, but still really easy to use. Has a very small internal memory. Any SD cared you have works in this camera and then does not need to use it's internal memory, obviously. Has USB port, easy to hook up to computer or TV. It's just a great little camera! Any questions? Just ask!
Thanks!

Do you have the USB cable that goes with it?

Well,no. I am looking for it,and may have it. But in case I cannot find it,I'm saying no to be safe. So no,I don't have it. If/when I find it,I'll post an update on it.
It does not take any special USB cable. Same basic one for most cameras.

A usb cord would be nice, but I prefer that you send the owners manuel with it. I can alway find a usb cord, but the manuel has all the info to operate the camera properly and get the most out of it. Many of the camera companies do not have a download for the manuel on their support site unless it is a very high end item. Over $500.00 or more.

I don't have the original one. But I did download and print off the manual for this camera from their website, and that will go with it.

glad I was outbid, no cord?

For the third time,no. I do not know happened to it. And because my cord for my other cameras fits it just fine,I never worried about it. But that cord I have goes to my DSLR,and it's the only one I have. But the plug size and shape id very common and inexpensive,AND SD card readers are very cheap, and work just the same, just take the SD card out of the camera and slip it into the card reader and plug it into the computer. That's why I put it up on here because it's not been used much, works well, and not having the cord with it,isn't a big problem. So I figured it can go to a good home where it will be used instead of sitting next to my monster camera that seems to pick on it because of it's size, teasing relentlessly, and poking it with it's flash.

Looks like a very nice camera, had one just like it before but to my dismay i dropped it over board while fishing would love to replace it, as far as the USB cord goes you are right you can find them any where i may even have one here, will definitely be bidding on this one, you did say that there were no problems with it didn't you? Thanks

Yep,there's no issue with it. Though I will say as far as the battery life goes,it hogs the battery energy. I found that using a higher quality battery, like Duracell or Energizer, the batter life lasts much longer (I used like dollar store batteries and they got used up pretty fast. But it works well, and there are all kinds of neat features to it,so you can take black and whites, sepia, put borders around it,do lowlight,etc...things like that. I have a Nikon DSLR,so I'm really critical of most point and shoots because I'm so used to getting the best pictures with my DSLR. However lugging that big thing everywhere is just not something I can do. And this point and shoot I was surprised it took pretty darn good pictures! Plus,my DSLR takes special batteries that rechargeable, but also expensive and an outlet for the charger isn't always available (there's no outlets in the middle of the forest much to my dismay). So having regular "AA" batteries with the point and shoot is nice because it's easy to bring extra and/or pick some up in almost any store wherever you go. Maybe this time you'll hold on a bit tighter to the camera,so it doesn't swim with the fishes (hahaha...little joke, hahaha,I'm funny. Ok,well I thought it was).

Thanks for the reply, your right i don't think i will take it out in the ocean again, probably some blue fin tuna taking pictures of his family and friends now or better yet probably has one of the fool who dropped it over board, i also try to take things like this with a grain of salt, no use in crying about it, you seem like a good guy i am trying my best on this one like i said had one just like it and loved it, maybe the good lord will look out for me, you know what they say about fools and drunks so maybe he will have pity on me, hope to be doing business with you soon, take care my friend.

The good Lord looks out for everyone, and the tuna only takes pictures of himself at night,in the bathroom. And,I'm a good girl, not a guy,but the sentiment is appreciated nonetheless.
I'm curious as to why people assume I a guy. Is it because of my profile name? Don't women love Unsolved Mysteries as much as guys do?

Terribly sorry for assuming you were a guy, i certainly didn't mean to insult you, please accept my apologizes, you have a great sense of humor, there i go again putting my foot in my mouth i didn't mean a lady couldn't have a good sense of humor and i use the word lady there is a difference in a woman and a lady at least thats what i was taught i am from the south and we always put our ladies on a pedestal, not trying to impress you just how we southern gentlemen are, so if i offended you in any way please accept my apologizes.

Hhahaha, please, don't apologize. I didn't mean it that way. It doesn't offend me at all. I just think it's funny how most people assume I'm a guy based on my profile name/pic. Really,I didn't mean anything by it,was just joking around. Guy or girl, cat or dog, doesn't matter. It's the sense of humor that's important!! ;)
