The listing, Sewing Machine Foot has ended.

The only thing I know about this is that it is brand new and in the original bag. It was from a sewing machine that I bought and never used. I sold it at a garage sale and found this laying in the basement.

This looks like a pleater. I am not sure, but it looks like it does that.

I agree. It is a walking foot, used for machine quilting, so that the top layer and the bottom layer ofr the quilt move over the feed dogs at an even pace. Quilters, you get it, right?
They sell for as much as $35.

This is most definitely a walking foot attachment and not a pleater/ruffler attachment. Generic ones like this one are less expensive, but name-brand ones can cost double or more the estimate above.
