UPRIGHT ROSEMARY ~ Rosmarinus officinalis

Makes 36''-48" aromatic, evergreen shrubs, planted 24" to 36" apar. Great for cascading down a retaining wall or over the edge of a container. Attracts pollinators -- bees, butterflies and birds.

Gives a wonderful flavour to mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, roasts. It's the classic herb for lamb.

A useful plant with rich, dark green needle-like foliage. Makes a terrific background mass for colored foliage and flowers. Fall colours -- are great with a Rosemary background. Give it excellent drainage. Very drought tolerant. Deer do not eat Rosemary.

When they arrive, put them in room temperature water for 3-4 days and then pot them up in well-draining growing media. Keep the soil in pots moist but not soaking wet. Plant them out in the spring after your last frost
