THIS AUCTION IS FOR 6 SEEDS

The PEANUT BUTTER BUSH (Clerodendrum trichotomum) is a large shrub, native to China and Japan. It grows to about 10 - 20 feet high. The leaves are ovate, up to 4 3/4 inches long, soft and downy or hairy. When bruised, they have the odor of peanut butter.

The flowers are borne on branching peduncles. They have white petals, held within a brown calyx. The fruits are bright blue drupes. It is cultivated for its fragrant flowers, autumn colour, and ornamental berries.
