This being my first decent digital camera, it has got to go many places and has proved to be an amazing point and shoot camera. Its been my witness & travel partner for about a year.

I love taking pictures and quality is an absolute when finding a camera. This Nikon is a 12.0 megapixel that has a magnificently large 3.0 LCD display screen. It runs on two AA batteries so there is no worries about where to purchase your replacements. The Easy Auto mode detects your surroundings and automatically fine tunes the setting to snap the best picture possible! Also the camera is equipped with vibration reduction technology so if your a bit shaky, this camera has your back!

Then please be aware that the reason i am putting this here is not because it doesn't work, it works great! But the camera does suffer from an injury. In the last picture I posted that shows the battery compartment, you can see that there is a white area between the two batteries. That was once the latch that locked the covering in place. I've been using a rubber band to keep the compartment closed so the batteries stay in place. A quick repair a camera shop will fix this right up! Everything else works perfectly!!

does it record video? and does it come with the USB cord that is used to download pictures and video to a computer

The Camera has the capability too take photos and also record videos. It does include a USB cord (featured in the pictures.) If you'd rather not use the USB cord, it also accepts an SD card which you can transfer directly to your device to upload pictures easily.

I love this camera and i know who ever gets it will adore it just as i have.
If you haven't already, please look at the comments next too each rating. Most of them are people who rated me neutral because what they shipped never arrived too me. There was also an occasion where i did not ship an item due to an emergency. Thus i take full responsibly for that. Otherwise all my transactions have been positive. Any other scratches or flaws?

There are a few very light almost not visible scratches on the front, none on the screen. There are also a slight ding that is unnoticeable even when looking at it close up. This camera has been taken very good care of. I will try to include a more detailed picture of the blemish.

what kind of features does it offer??? I have a cannon 790 10 m/p I love this thing it's like my life but sadly my little toy is falling apart and I am afraid it's life has come to an end.. It has all the features I LOVE... like color accent color swap some of the basics you know underwater sunset kids/pets etc.. great recording stuff.. i found one on ebay for a pretty penny but if your lil cam can match what my lil cam can do I'd love to bid!

So sorry that your camera is nearing the end of its life. I've just taken a look at this camera and it offers some different features, such as portrait, landscape, sports, night portrait, party/indoor, beach/snow, sunset, dusk/dawn, night landscape, close up, food, museum, firework show, backlighting, panorama assist.. etc. There is also an easy auto mode, smart portrait, and movie/video mode.

Yes the camera can record videos but it doesn't auto focus on a certain object if that is what your referring too. Hope this helps.
