I am in the heart of this really bad storm that will last until Wednesday and might take power out on most of the East coast, so if you win one of my listings and don't hear from me, that would be why.

By Sunday night we are supposed to get sustained 50-60 mph winds for two days. I live on the Chesapeake Bay and we have NO idea how much tidal flooding we will get here. Wish me luck!

I feel charmed. My house was surrounded by high tide water for two days, but suffered no damage and we only lost power for less than an hour. It was stressful but we were safe, warm and could make as much coffee as we wanted to! Thanks so much, all is well here but I feel very badly for the people in New York and New Jersey. Wow, huge problems there.

We are SO okay ... I feel charmed. I feel VERY badly for all the people suffering in New York and New Jersey. I'm so glad I'm not in an urban area any more, these storms will probably only get worse over the years. I don't know how some of these people survive this stuff ...
