The listing, 2 Skeins of Gorgeous Handspun Yarn! has ended.

Hot off the spinning wheel, this handspun yarn (approx 75 yards per skein) is made up of one ply of burgundy variegated wool and one ply of blue variegated wool. The effect is a stunning combination that will leave your mouth watering for a new knitting project!

I have 8 skeins in total available, but this auction is for 2. So if you would like more than 2 skeins, please email me. Also, note that the cost for the roving alone for each skein was $6+, so at retail, each skein would sell for $15-18 ea. This set of 2 brand new skeins, in other words, is worth more than $30!

This is gorgeous! I can twist plarn on my homemade "CD-whorl drop spindle", but that's my current limit. I admire your skill. :-o

TY! I tried a drop spindle but could never get the hang of it. A spinning wheel, however, I picked up very quickly and love to spin while watching TV at night.

I learned how to spin very quickly but was taught by a neighbor who had been spinning for years. My best advice? Dont expect a lot from your first 50 skeins. Like anything, you must practice! But even real roughly spun yarn is wonderful.
