FREE: Very Old US 1c Stamp from 1895 with Benjamin Franklin

Here's another old US stamp-- it's a 1c blue with Benjamin Franklin, I believe Scott number 264 from 1895-- it has part of a watermark. It is in used condition with an interesting postmark with a large "E."

This week it is ALL older better stamps from the USA.

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away over the past couple of years, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad collected stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
