Here's another old US stamp-- it's a 13c purple black with a portrait of Benjamin Harrison, Scott's catalogue number 308, issued in 1902. It is in used condition with a somewhat dark postmark, but otherwise looks to be free of damage. It's a somewhat "better" stamp, with a Scott's value of $11.00-- don't let this one get away!

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away over the past couple of years, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad collected stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
