Works perfect, the sticky attachment part isn't the most sticky but the heating for this item still works fine. This would usually cost minimum $25 at a pet store

This heating pad is generally meant for going on the bottom side of a tank so that it keeps the glass warm and away from direct contact to the animal. It is not meant to go into a tank or water. I think it would be just fine for a turtle
