They CAN be used as postage, but you would be better off saving them, or at least(if you would win) list them on ebay and you would surely get enough to buy a sheet of forever stamps! ALL UNUSED U.S. STAMPS MAY BE USED AS POSTAGE, REGARDLESS OF THEIR AGE! JUST F.Y.I. :-)
