this is from trendnet its a54mbps 802.11g wireless usb 2.0 adapter i used it on my old desktop to make it wireless,i dont know anything more than what it says on the box.the box says wi-fi compliant withieee802.11/gstandards supports WPA/WPA2,64/128-Bitwep encryption-widows98SE/ME/2000/XP i have install disk and instr.book

yes but if it is a secure network you will need the pass word

when you install this you will have a seperate network icon on you computer you will click that and it will show all networks in range you then click on the network you want to connect to and it will connect
