you need to call the tech support for this company and give them this serial number for this machine and they will send you a new copy of the os for this computer but you need to use a portable hardrive in order to do a fresh install. the restoration drive/partition on this does not work. the person that had this before lied to me and said it worked great then windows crashed for her son. if this was true then the recovery partition would work properly in which i could not get it to work so i called them and they said with the proper serial number(this is the number that the person i won this from gave me) that they could send the new os for it but you had to use a portable hard drive since there is no cd/dvd rom for this system. i cleaned this up quite a bit as when i received it,it was filthy and the lady was very rude with me when i was asking questions trying to gain access to the recovery partition. it is worth the call to get a disk unless you know how to install a new os without going through all this? i dont have the time or need for this now as i just got a brand new computer 3 and a half weeks ago so im good now and we are getting ready to move so i am trying to down size. the gin will give you everything in the picture regarding this little computer and free shipping with delivery confirmation. thanks so much enjoy!!

hmm? thats whats listed first thing on the description,this was all I was given on it sorry, I will come back from town and look up the specs for this Model# and add more if need be to an updated section like memory,etc.. I just listed whatever they did,so I will check on it when Im back home but grandkids were sick this weekend and their dad just got here to pick them both up poor baby was crying cause gramma wasnt going with him : ( (he just turned a year old this past 22nd) so Im sort of like their Momma now since my daughter wasmurdered in July so it sort of broke my heart when he started crying lol , he was putting that lower lip out there like gramma come with me lol, anywho Im just able to go up town and pick up things I need for the house so when I get back about an hour or so I will update this auction with more of what I find out. thx

i have one of these things and i love it you can also install a new copy of windows 7 from a usb flash drive because this thing does not have a cd or dvd player in them at least mine dont.but anyway they are really good machines and i will be watching who knows when this is all over i may have 2 of them. fanned and watching

oh yeah I didnt even think about using a usb flash drive for it lol I could do that if I can get the copy of the OS to copy to my flash drive? thanks for the info, but we'll have to see if I can find a quick copy to do it myself instead of ordering one from them or just letting the winner do it so I can get the restof my sorting done. thanks again

its not set in stone that you have to use windows 7 starter.they actually work rather well with ultimate on them.butif i win it i will do it myself like i said whoever gets it will be getting a good little machine for the credits.i love your auction and i hope it does really well for you.

I generally dont ship to Canada because there is no tracking available and I would have to fill out a customs declaration form and pay for that, I cannot afford to spend extra money and not have the protection of a tracking/delivery confirmation.sorry

I don't think they have a windows 7 starter system. It may be windows 7 home basic or premium or even the ultimate. Usually computers are sold with one of the existing operating systems. The label on the bottom (?) may tell you which OS it had installed. Check all the labels, one of them should tell you.

yes it says the windows starter version, I have the link to the OS to download it on a usb flash drive so yes it is what is called the starter version of windows 7 thx

if the GIN option is used the shipping will be free,other words if you win with a regular bid, I would prefer to be paid via PayPal (in which you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay the shipping,you can use their guest services account to pay with either a credit or debit card, a regular one or even a prepaid one, if you dont have one of those you can also use a checking account or savngs account) if you dont have either of those I would accept concealed cash put in a business size envelope wrapped in paper,you must put either a couple pieces of bubble wrap or small cardboard in the envelope to make it rigid that way you can place a tracking/delivery confirmation number on it to protect you and me and both parties will know where it is en route and when it is delivered. by placing cardboard or bubble wrap in a business sized envelope you can track it other wise it cannot be tracked because if it fits through the auto sorter then there is no delivery confirmation allowed,you can still mail it first class but it will be first class parcal with delivery confirmation for about a total of 2.65 I would subtract the 85 cents for the tracking, I always use tracking that way both parties know that it was shipped,where it is enroute,and when it is delivered. thanks for asking good luck
