The listing, US Stamp with Post Office printing ERROR! has ended.
Here's an unusual US stamp-- it is the 18c "Surrey" stamp, issued in 1981, but with a "mistake!"
If you're interested in stamps, maybe you've heard of the way "printing errors" sometimes happen when stamps are made. Such errors are supposed to be destroyed by the printer and never sold to the public. Perhaps the most famous such error is the "Inverted Jenny," an old US air mail stamp, where one single sheet of stamps was accidentally printed with the airplane upside down.
Some such "errors" can become quite valuable, into the tens of thousands of dollars.
Now, take a look at the stamp in the photo. The original perforations between the stamps were made in the WRONG place! The text at the top of the stamp is supposed to read "Surrey 1890's" but see how there's an "s" at the LEFT of the stamp, instead? And see how you can also see a bit of the old car's front wheel, at the LEFT of the stamp? These stamps SHOULD have ended up in the trash, and been burned. But they were not.
This is what most stamp collectors would call a "minor error," and whereas it is NOT worth "thousands of dollars," it is certainly unusual and collectible.
