As you see in the picture the 2nd pic, when hanging the gold part sticks out and then hangs down. The crystals are not plastic they are glass also. Picture doesn't do justice to what the pic looks like. I didn't take picture of these other wise it would show what really looks like. Infact I was going to keep them but it has been years now since I have worn clips. I wear very small earrings. It goes to say the older I get the smaller the earrings. But these earrings are really beautiful. The winner will really be surprised how they really look. Sorry for late up date.
