This is a older virson tape recorder,comes with 6 tapes never used..uses batteries 2 double aa not included..does not come with battery charging cord..this is a v-o-r (voice operated recording..has a counter,m-529v/microcassette-corder..this item is used,but still works great,for meeting..

It works well,just uses tapes not digital..

does it havr a mic jack or just built in mic or both?

built in mic,v-o-r off or on,ear plug.operates on two new AA batteriers..( not included) sorry..

does it have play back since it operates on tapes. (as in can i put in a tape and it plays it)

yes as long as it is the right side tape yes..micro cassette..
