Description

The listing, Famous Foods from Famous Places has ended.

A Better Homes & Gardens publication, with specialty of the house recipes from America's leading restaurants, 1964, 224 pg hardcover, great people pictures in 1964 clothing and hair styles. Spine and covers are good for a book almost 50 years old. Book is clean, tight; there is a "to"-"from" in ink on the inside and there are several (?) pages that have "wrinkles" that indicate there has been some moisture around the book. There are no stains, stuck together pages, or anything that would indicate water damage

We combine auctions to save you postage; let us know if you are bidding on more of our auctions and want to wait to see if you win. We accept PayPal, checks, MOs,USPS
stamps, and cash. We have many more books to list as Listia lets us.
Please note: Due to the large number of book auctions that we post on Listia, we cannot always ship the book(s) within the 7 days that Listia likes. If this is a problem for you, please do not bid. We do combine shipping when you win more than one auction; the more you win, the more you will save. Often the combined postage is not even half of the posted amount, but again the combined amount is my decision and depends upon the number of light and heavy books and the way they are shipped. We always post an amount; you should expect to pay that amount, and be pleased with any discount we give. Again, if you are going to be upset because we charge too much shipping, please do not bid. We are trying to supply good books for people who want them. We buy boxes of books every week at the two weekly auctions here in HS to get books that I want. Usually I keep two or three out of a box of 25 to 50. Many of the rest go to one of the charity stores, but we post what our bidders are asking for on Listia and the other four sites we use. If this sounds "harsh" please read the bad feedbacks posted for me by people who have not listed as many auctions in a year as I have had won in a single day.
