THIS YRS CROP! These will be the remaining clusters I have. Hundreds of fresh seeds loose and in clusters. This is the RED version. They are mild in taste and sweet. Can get up to the size of a golf ball. I do not use pesticides on the plants nor do I use any chemicals for the soil in my gardens. Shallots CAN be grown from seeds. They just take longer. Sometimes, it takes a second season for them to start but with this many seeds..... I have had success growing mine in a starter box on the back porch where it is not to hot nor cols. These were just picked along with my beets. Roommate sniped the tops off before I could stop him. sry lol
