This open tote style purse is a rare find ----- a vintage D & B that was produced in America --- with exceptional workmanship and quality. The natural leather trim (on the outside and inside!) and straps (which are 7/8" wide) are beautiful. All of the brass hardware is equally beautiful. On the backs of the brass buckles it is stamped SOLID BRASS. The brass "tag" hanging on the outside of the purse has the Dooney & Bourke stamp. This is an authentic Dooney & Bourke handbag.
