Brief history: In 1898 the Philippines was ceded to the US as part of a settlement in the Spanish American war. On July 4, 1946, the US granted the Republic of the Philippines full independence.Prior to this date, the US was responsible for isuing all coinage. So these coins were all minted in the US for the Philippines. The coins are all in fair-good condition. They are not mint condition.
