Description

The listing, Silver Fashion Ring has ended.

Very Cute, unique, size 6 fashionable ring. It is silver, I think sterling silver, but not 100% sure. I've had it sitting in my jewerly box, and would like to give it a new home in which it will be enjoyed. I'm sorry the picture isn't the best.

no, I don't see any markings. I'm sorry, but I'm new at learning about what markings on rings mean. if there is no marking, does this mean it's not sterling silver? And if there is a certain marking please let me know for my future auctions. Thanks.

Usually if it's stamped "925" inside it's Sterling Silver.

Thanks good to know. My ring must not be sterling silver then. It is a hard silver metal which I got from Maurices or Claires a few years ago.

That's only true for some rings and jewelry. Some will actually say the word 'Sterling' or part of the word; 'Strl' Others that are very, very old, may not have any markings at-all. Still others that come out of Mexico, or Brazil, Or South America, may be hand wrought by an Indian, and they often do not put 925 or sterling inside the ring or other jewelry. But they do like to sign their work, and if they are from a certain tribe, and are Proud of that fact, may also write something like Pueblo, or Navaho on the inside. Most Indians Did use pure silver.
