The copy of the 1863 Bank of DeSoto one dollar bank note was produced for the American Civil War centennial in the 1960's. The Nebraska note features a picture of Daniel Webster on the left, an Indian family on the right, and a midwest family in the center on this detailed note. Nebraska and other western states provided soldiers during the Civil War.
