it is 18kt hard gold electroplate, silver in color so white gold ,All these differant names for gold and silver get so confusing. that's what it has on the ring and it is a silver with shiny and etched parts.it is quite nice,and if you don't like it i will take it back and refund you. if you have it tested please don't let them leave a big ugly mark on the metal. thank you..
