Offered is a 1 3/8" by 2 5/8" trading card. It is card number 41 in a series of 50 RAILWAY ENGINES issued by Will Cigarettes, Imperial Tobacco Co. of Great Britain and Ireland.

This is of a Heavy Passenger Locomotive "SIR GEORGE MURRAY" SOUTH AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT RAILWAY. Duties included hauling the Adelaide Melbourne expresses.

As there was interest in my earlier listing of these trading cards, I am posting this locomotive engine and will be posting a few other cards in the series if sufficient interest is shown.

Thank you for your bid. in another auction I am also offering another card in this series from the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, a passenger locomotive "Remembrance" named after World War One in memory of railway employees who "fell during the Great War."
