The listing, Quilter's Design Board and Game has ended.

This can be used as a game for making patterns, or for quilt designs. There are 10 packets of triangular colored magnets and a magnetic board, white on one side, black on the other. There is also a sheet that gives ideas on using the set for designing.

It is fun to play with and it does work as a way to explore design options. Although all the pieces are triangles, you can combine them to form squares, diamonds, stars, etc.

The set weighs a little over 1 pound and the box is 13 x 13 x 1 1/2", so shipping will cost a bit.

Will this fit in a medium flat rate shipping box?

I think it would. It is wide enough on one side and deep enough to slant it...yeah, it would work. I work at a library and I was just planning to wrap it in cardboard for mailing :) We have a lot of boxes coming in from book orders.

I discovered that I have a medium flat rate shipping box sitting around. I was able to confirm that it fits at an angle.

Just a head's up. I'll be away at a conference until next Tuesday night, so I won't be able to ship this until Wednesday. Hope that isn't a problem for whoever wins the auction, but I wanted to be share and let people know about the slight delay.
