The listing, 1957B Silver Certificate (Error Bill?) - Free shipping! has ended.
This is a crisp 1957 B Silver Certificate with a blue seal. It has a cut at the top. The last inch of the cut is loose but the other 1 1/2" of the cut isn't completely thru the paper. Kind of like it's scored but not cut. I don't know if that means it's a mint error or not. The bill itself is in uncirculated condition. It's as fresh and crisp as a 2012 dollar bill is today. Bidding starts at zero and shipping is free!
The cut could be an error, but as it stands, I can't tell for sure that it wasn't done AFTER it left the BEP .... In other words, someone could have cut it themselves. I'm not saying that YOU did.... just that it's not definitive, at least not to me.
The one sure thing that is always an error is when EXTRA paper is left on ... that's easy to establish as an error... or when a bill is cut in such a way that part of another bill is evident (like the edge of the next bill).
