The color is called Wild Cherry. This yarn is a medley of pinks, from a deep pink pink, to a purple pink. Very soft and bright. One skein, enough to make a pair of socks and then some. The label says:

Silk and Merino DK
A 50/50 blend
313 yards 4 oz hank
5 sts per inch on size 5 needles
