Up for auction is a vintage hand carved wooden box, made in India. Box has metal trim on corners as seen in photos. Measures 6" x 4" x 2.5", and is lined in a rust color flannel-like fabric. Bottom is same as top. I have not polished the box or the brass accents, but the box is in nice condition, as found.

This was purchased at an estate sale, and contains a collection of coins and a few elongated / stretched tokens. Clean lot. There is an older "made in India" sticker on the bottom.

Elongated tokens are: Texas ~ Lone Star State; A-12 Blackbird ~ Museum of Flight Seattle; Skagway ~ Alaska , and Sportsworks. Most of the coins are from the 1960s & 1970s, with one as early as 1921 and one as late as 2003. I do not know how to read dates on the Asian coins

I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but box is solid, and not lightweight
