Also with digital cameras, you should get heavy duty batteries. I have a 12.2 mp camera, photographers quality, and i can go through about 350 pictures before changing batteries. hope this helps!

just whats stated. as for batteries average i guess i open the battery cover when not in use.

FB I understand I have the same issue with the camera i took the pictures of this camera with but its because i used the flash without the flash the batteries last longer in all of these digital cams. as for this one I really don't know. sorry

I also pay for insurance now as the USPS lost a package of 5 new FUJI digital cams. a few months ago and I didn't have it on that. Live and learn.
