Shipping is about $11 unfortunately, becaus eof its size, and weight, plu $.85 for confirmation. Sorry, but credits are low! Please fan me? TY and Good luck!
Between $11 and $12, and I am sorry it is high, it is 85 cents for confirmation/tracking, an dit is heavy and big. but free! Hope you fanned me? TY Gail
Why would you ream me out for not choosing to pay for shipping, and have a lower credit start? That is everyone's personal coice. You have a right, and so do I, so you dod what you like, and I will do what I need to. If You do not like it I am truly sorry. Good luck! Une=less you wnat to give me a HUGE amount of credits, i would lose big time on this! It is $11-12 to ship. At -400 credits=$1, that would make me have to start at 4800, and that does nOT include the cost of the new lite brite... so probably somewhere around 8000, which i didn't think people would offer. So you think about it, and please do not criticize me for doing what I think is best for me. Good luck to you regardless of our disagreement..
LoL, with that reply back it really shows just how new you really are to this site. With this being a New Lite Brite it would've made an EXCELLENT Christmas gift to any member on here that had a little girl. When an item is New members want it. There are members on this site with great credit, like myself for starters as I have just over 700,000 credits to through around and much more coming. I list brand new and gently used items myself but I offer free worldwide shipping of my items and members bid good credit because of those two words "free shipping". Free shipping is what draws your members with large amount of credit in. Members that normally bid on items that have the buyer paying are more then likely the members with little credit or are hymie with their credit and don't like to bid high for items so they look for items like this and then pay the small shipping fee to win it. $11 to ship a brand new item that with the right members bidding on it is more then worth it to you. I've bid over 15,000 credits for a brand newer version like this one on here but then again, there was free shipping of the item. By not offering free shipping your only saying "please bid low for this" as that's all you'll recieve in the end resulting in a huge loss of the item, sure you shipping is covered but you recieved little credit for it. This auction is been here for a week and had 7 hours left on it and yet you have 16 watchers (which from experience 2 of them will actully bid at the end) and you only have 555 credits for the item. Now, with this being new in it's box you could've listed this at say 6000 to start and a member like myself would've bid and locked it in, therefore drawing more attention to the auction and making other members begin bidding to try an outbid me.
thanks for your advice, but I have to be careful, I can't lose $$ on the deal, or it just wastes my time and money, and that is NOT good. I am learning, and appreciate your thoughts, but have a ways to get yet. Thankss for the info! Fanned you, hpe you faned me too!
Don't always feel obligated to start your auctions so low to draw members in cause without free shipping, you won't attract many. These aren't expensive to purcahse, whoever said they were is confused. I could go purchase this in WALMART here in Canada for $20 which is not much more then it's going to cost a member to pay your shipping fee. Free is best, if you can't offer that then there isn't much point in participating in Listia cause your credit you recieve for it in the end it's going to be worth it to you to compete for the higher priced items listed on this site. I've been here long enough, I know how it goes
So if it's cash you seek why not list it on kijiji or something? Really your not benefiting anything here by auctioning it out, a few extra credits maybe but I think you could sell it on a site or something for alittle more then $11. Your wasting you own time and gas to package this up and take it to the post office to ship it to the member. Thanks for fanning me, I have fanned you back and do wish you the best here on Lisita.
