Beware anyone who sells turquoise that *isn't* stabilized! Stabilized turquoise is, like the designer said, genuine. It simply has a treatment that allows it to be worn/used everyday without crumbling or breaking (think of opal, which is incredibly delicate & breaks if you breathe too hard on it, or so it seems, LOL... Well, non-stabilized turquoise is like that). Stabilization is a standard industry practice, as is heat enhancement, or dying--which, between the two, gives us even more wonderful shades or colors of turquoise; (& the amazing color range of topaz, to name another popular stone).

Was cruizin' thru the different auctions, saw this comment, & just *had* to add my 2 cents worth... ;~}

PS, these pieces are amazing! Very well done wrap-work!
