A brand new Apple TV would cost you from $99.00 to $156.00 and in the Listia Rewards Store it is 80,000 credits this one that I have listed here has only been used 4 times since it was taken out of the box and it is in excellent condition so I really don't think a starting bid of 38,000 credits is too much and my GIN price is only 70,000 credits (10,000 credits less than the Listia Rewards Store price) and let's not forget that the shipping is FREE

so, I say again...I really don't think my starting bid of 38,000 credits is too much

Thanks! =)

I don't see anywhere in Listia's rules for listing content that says it's a "requirement" to have my user name on a piece of paper in pictures
_______________

Listing Content:
The listing page is where most buyers will get information to help them decide if they want to bid on your item or not. The content on this page should focus on describing the item(s) and any detail about the terms of the transaction. Your listing may be removed or edited if any of the following rules are violated. The following are not allowed in your listings:
______________________________________

Links, references or solicitations to outside sites, companies, organizations, groups, newsletters or mailing lists. Any links, URLs, usernames, or references to the above in your listing title, description or other fields are prohibited. Exceptions: links provided purely for clarification or further description of the item listed (ie, not to a store or business) or trustworthy charitable organizations.
Description of your seller status or inclusion of any artwork/expressions in the Title or Location field. For example, including "Trusted Seller" or "bid with confidence" is not allowed. Your Listia badges will reflect your seller status appropriately.
Conflicting or misleading product information, including misleading or unrelated words in your title or description.
Mis-represented items.

I wan't trying to be rude and while it's not a requirement it i very often recommended by the mods on here to help instill bidder confidence. See example below
Re:
Hello,
In order to have better results with your auction, please add more details regarding your item. For an even more productive auction experience (more bids, possibly higher credits received), we recommend that you post a clear, close-up picture of your item with it powered on (showing current date clearly if it has that capability), as well as with it powered off. A picture of the back side too will help you, all with the same background. Also, it’s HIGHLY recommended that you write your Listia username on a piece of paper and have it next to your item when you take a picture of it. It adds bidder confidence that you in fact have this item in your possession.

While this isn't a requirement, this is requested so that sellers get higher bids from more bidders, and for the protection of our users who might be interested in bidding on your item. It'll also prevent your auction from getting flagged by users. We don't want your auction to get deleted for seeming like it's not real. Thanks for your cooperation and good luck with your auction!

I do in fact have this item in my possession!!!
I spent 1,700 credits to make this a premium auction...now if I didn't in fact have this item in my possession do you really think I would have wasted 1,700 credits for nothing.....no, i wouldn't have!!
oh, yeah...and let's not forget the cost for "Get It Now" that's only refunded if it's used.....so, up to this point I spent 1,750 credits to have this auction and you are now talking to me about having "real pictures with my user name on a piece of paper in the picture"???
So, if that's not required by Listia then I don't have to do it
AND lastly...If my bids are low it will be because of these comments from you and the person below you who says that my starting bid is too high and NOT because I don't have my user name on a piece of paper in the picture!

yes and no....Apple TV does things that Roku does not and vice versa
I have noticed with Apple TV that everything (other than netflix) has to be purchased from iTunes...I myself like Roku a lot better in fact I would recommend it to anyone and I have ~ I hope this helps! =)

Honestly don't know why you got so upset. I didn't ask rudely and I didn't ask anything unreasonable nor did I accuse you of not having item. I also have many hadges and auctions under my belt but add username pics to high value auctions for bidder confidence. Sorry you were so insulted by my request.
