Description

The listing, Vintage Pink, White and Silver Peppermint Candy Bracelet, Earrings and Wire-wrapped Ring has ended.

This HANDMADE set is composed of VINTAGE pink and white nugget beads, tiny pink and white beads, Bali sterling silver spacers, white pearls and finished with a sterling silver heart toggle closure. it measures 8 inches in length.

The pierced-style earrings match with the same vintage beads, and the remainder is all sterling silver and they dangle about 1 1/4 inch.
The wire-wrapped ring is composed of sterling silver wire, bali sterling silver spacers and the smaller vintage pink and white beads. It is size 10 on my ring mandrel.

The small pink and white beads came from a necklace that belonged to my mother-in-law when she was alive. I have been using a lot of her old costume jewelry for my recent creations on my website.

It is rare that you can have a bracelet, earrings AND a ring that all match. Enjoy!

For the person that wanted to know how far Gainesville is from Savannah, it depends on how you go. From the QT at Exit 22 of I-985, via interstates 85,75, and 16, it is 303 Miles to Savannah Mall. If you take the back way, it is 255 miles for the same points. I live about 21 miles north of Gainesville, myself.

Can the ring be resized? 10 is HUGE, I wear a size 4 1/2 lol
Aug 3rd, 2010 at 10:22:21 PM PDT by
Original
Wire-wrapped rings cannot be re-sized. This was custom made for someone who refused to pay! 4 1/e is very tiny! Smaller than my pinkie and I have small hands. I do not have anymore of the tiny pink amd white beads. Sorry... I could make you another for a fee or substitute one that size that I already have b ut it would not match the bracelet. Defeats the "free" aspect of this website!

For shipping to to India, if it's shipping in a large envelope it would be $2.82, if it's in a box it would be $3.02. Both of those are for 3 oz at First Class International shipping. Priority shipping would be cheapest in a flat rate envelope or small box, both at $13.45.

I don't know too much about Sponsored Auctions, but aren't they suppose to be free shipping? http://www.listia.com/about#sponsors

Thank you Tyhana - I looked up the USPS on my Blackberry last night (12m) and it was not easy to interpret the info so thought I would check this am on my desktop computer. You saved me from doing that...thanks i didn't think it would be very much.
As to your other comment, my understanding about sponsored auctions is that the first one must be worth more than $50. The Listia people set it up for me - i.e. making it a sponsored site, my info and what i wanted the big button to say with the link to my etsy shop. If there was no choice for shipping then why was I given that option? Because these items are clearly worth more than the required $50 given my tme AND the nature of the components - vintage beads and sterling silver, i felt that paying for the shipping by the winner was a not a big deal. They advise you to make items free shipping to entice more bidders and to somehow legitimize you as the lister. i mean no offense to anyone...thought and still am sure I am following the rules. I will ship this set carefully wrapped in a bubble mailing envelope which is about 8 inches by 6 inches.
In the meantime, I will look into this further.
Thanks again for your interest harmanrewari2008 and the info tyhana!

Well, I stand corrected! The rules DO say free shipping so that is what I will do. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THAT IN THE LIATING, however. If that is the case then why are you allowed to choose a shipping option????

Great FREE SHIPPING! And it can't be resized or made to be adjustable in anyway?
Aug 8th, 2010 at 5:26:56 AM PDT by

This one time I am willing to re-size the bracelet...that means I have to take it apart, adjust the number of components and put it all back together. This does take some time! The ring is impossible to re-size...wire is not forgiving - it does not allow you to take apart and re-make with the same wire. Sterling silver wire is not cheap and again, more time is allowed. That is as much as I can offer for these FREE items.!! (no sarcasm intented!) :)

Hey there... I'll check out your etsy site and "heart" you. I have 2 etsy shops myself so i understand how difficult it is to get discovered there. One of my shops is just misc jeweled items, the other is all about my frames that I do in vintage jewels. You just inspired me to contact lisita about maybe being sponsored, since many of my frames are worth far more than $50 by the time I put $40 to $50 worth of signed vintage jewelry on them... not even counting the labor. I'm about to create and list a bunch of holiday frames for early Christmas shoppers. Off to see your shop.. :)) Have a blessed day fellow crafter!
