these are great for bass guitar players too but they are awsome for deeper sounds

also hard rockers heavy metal they hold different twang than the skinny thins also hold up better on stage they are good for lead and bass

you must be in a band to know all that info, I just play at home with my guitar for fun or to annoy my 15 yr old son, actually we sometimes have battles because he has an electric and mine is acoustic.
