Even for those that don’t believe in God or Jesus, this image must touch some type of emotion. The crown of thorns piercing his skin and the blood running down, dripping to his neck. His eyes looking up.There are many iconic religious symbols and images that are widely requested for body art designs following a theme of faith, particularly among followers of Christianity and Catholicism; however a Jesus FACE has to be one of the most favored overall. These are often beautifully detailed works of art that can be depicted in a variety of different ways whether the individual prefers a full-bodied version or one that focuses on the facial features only. The former often include Christ on the cross while many of the latter show His face writhing in agony with a crown of thorns on His head but either can be scaled to suit differing skin surfaces or incorporated with related imagery for larger more elaborate designs.

Probably one of the most recognizable faces in the world is that of Jesus of Nazareth, who is also called Jesus Christ. He was born over 2000 years ago. Over those many centuries, billions of people have come to know him and become followers of Christianity, the religion centered on his life and teachings.
There are many different images depicting Jesus, which bring different emotions. When I look at some, like the one HERE, I feel a sense of peace, I feel at ease. It has a calming affect.


John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
Chapter 3 Verse 16 of the Gospel of John is one of the most widely quoted verses from the Christian Bible. It sends a powerful message just as this image of Jesus does.
