Marma 81 is correct it is counted cross stich and the book was printed in 1983

It's counted cross stitch. I have this booklet and the patterns are wonderful!! There are many different patterns .... vintage included ..... and it's hard to find licensed patterns!! Definitely worth the credits and the low shipping!! Good luck with the auction!! Already a fan ... watching!!

You're welcome ... I wasn't trying to step on any toes by answering jeanowens question, it's just the patterns in this book are really great! Some books I've seen on Listia have only a few good patterns. You will want to make all the patterns in this book!! I've been cross stitching since I was about 8 years old ... . . good luck with your auction!!!
